Today the first puppy of our S-litter left to his new home.

We have also taken the last photos of the litter together and this year it worked! But they were quite a bit calmer than the last Springer litter!

We still have the cuddly bitch puppy available for the right active home as I have decided that she is not going to a breeders home.

Last weekend on 30th November we have been to the last Show of the year of the Dansk Spaniel Klubben. Judge for English Springer Spaniels and Field Spaniels was Mr. Hans Rosenberg from Sweden.

“Renate vom Belauer See” (Art-Wave’s Cash In Hand x Ilse vom Belauer See), just 6 months old, gave her Show debut and got a “very promising 2”.  She did a great job being on the Show ground for the first time. I am looking forward to showing her next year.

“Noble Alice vom Belauer See” (Elgert Rumour Has It x Winterbourne Move On To Belauer See) had a great day: She was BOB (with competition!) and also fulfilled the requirements for the Danish Champion title. All CACs won in Denmark! As she is just a bit older than 24 months, it is now her first Champion title and we can start in Champion class.

Icing of the cake was, that Alice was also “Rasvinder 2019” – best Field Spaniel of the year. This is now the second year in a row. I am very happy that Alice got this title again!

Thank you to the Show team of the Dansk Spaniel Klubben. I always like to attend your Shows as you put a lot of effort into your Shows. There are always lots of beautiful Rosettes to win and lots of other prices you have organized. I really appreciate the small things which make your shows so special compared to others, like for example having flowers and candles on the tables of the judges. I think in other countries the organizers of Shows can learn from you! Many thanks!

Unfortunately there won't be another English Springer litter this year. Ilse lost one puppy on day 55 of her pregnancy. The boy was stillborn.

12./13.10.2019

There are some days which are just highlights in the life of a breeder!

To me these are days, when a puppy buyer calls me years later and tells me with tears in his or her voice about an achievement he/she accomplished with his/her dog…

Today was such a day! This weekend “Ludwig vom Belauer See“ (Calvdale Night Court x Desperados Charlotta At Belauer See) aka Gimli passed with his owner Dörthe Karrasch a very difficult Field Trial, which is considered here in Germany the Master piece of Hunting Trials! They passed with a 1. Prize and 215 Points!

Only someone, who has himself or herself trained a dog for such a Field/Hunting Trial and passed it, can appreciate how much work it is to prepare the dog for it and how good the dog needs to be trained to pass that two days trial!

Well done, big congratulations, Dörthe and Gimli!

By the way, Gimli is not only a dog with a great working and hunting ability, but also very successful in the Show ring! Beside a few national Champion and Winner titles Gimli has fulfilled the requirements for the title C.I.E. Champion International d‘ Exhibition (waiting for approval). Now he has also fulfilled the requirements for the title C.I.B. Champion International de Beauté as for Spaniels a hunting trial is required.

A Spaniel, who is successful in the Show ring, can show great working and hunting ability! This is then a true “dual purpose” Spaniel!

This is now the second dog from the L-litter, who passed this Master piece of Hunting Trials! Ludwig’s sister Luise passed last year this Field Trial with her master Ulrike Petry as best dog of the day as well!

I hold the highest respect for both ladies, who do such a marvelous job with their dogs! Many thanks for all your time and work! You are great!

12.10.2019

I have almost forgotten to write here about a nice achievement of our Heather "Okka vom Belauer See" at the Special Breed Show in Berlin-Panketal of the Jagdspaniel-Klub e.V. in Germany.

On September 21st Heather won "Best Of Breed" under the honorable Spaniel Specialist Mrs. Regine Sommer and later went even "Best In Show"!

Congratulations, Svenja and Heather!

Four days was my last trip to Kennel "Tamaam" in Poland.

I met wonderful people and great dogs! Many thanks Aga and Greg for your hospitality!

"Ilse vom Belauer See" has been mated by Jay "Glamorly Ginnie The Pooh". It will be the last litter of Ilse.

What a weekend for Kennel „vom Belauer See (FCI)” in different European countries!

In Great Britain our “Prince Arthur vom Belauer See At Nadavin” (Mc Gregor), co-owned with Jill & Charles Holgate, was BOB at Birmingham City under Mrs. S. M. Marshal. There were 34 Field Spaniels with 38 entries! McGregor got is first CC with only 14 months. I am so pleased with his development.

In Alsfeld, Germany „Dt.JCh. Klub+VDH EJSgr.'19 Okka vom

Belauer See“ was able to win the title “Club Show Junior Winner 2019” at the Club Show of the Jagdspaniel-Klub and BOB Junior under Judge Mr. M. Marques, Portugal. The previous day she got her first CAC towards the German Champion title.

Her mother “Dt.JCh. Klub+VDH, VDH European Winner 2019, Alpensieger 2019, Benelux Winner 2019, DtCH (VDH), NLCH, Jolanthe vom Belauer See“ got at the Show an excellent 4 in Champion Class. At the Dummy Working Trial she worked really well. Although she had lots of points she missed one task and could not pass the trial in Novice. Her half-sister “Luise vom Belauer See” did really well at the Dummy Working Trial and was placed 3rd. I have heard

that not many teams were successful that day. Congratulations to a well deserved 3rd place!

Litter brother of Jolanthe “Jakob vom Belauer See” took the very same day part in a Rally Obedience competition in Ahrensbök in the North of Germany. He started in the highest Class 3 and passed with “excellent” and 90/100 Points.

Last but not least Denmark: I showed my “JWW 18, DKJCh, KLBJCh, KLBJUBV 18, KLBJUBJV 18, Bundesjugendsieger 18, VDH-European Winner 19 Noble Alice vom Belauer See” at the Gold Cup and Silver Cup of the Dansk Spaniel Klubben. First day Alice went BOB under judge Rui Concalves and BIS2 Intermediate under judge Mr. Jose Ramon Guillamon.

The following day Alice was under Mr. Jose Ramon Guillamon again BOB and got the title “Silver Cup Winner 2019”.

Meanwhile Alice has plenty of tickets towards the Danish Champion title. But we need to wait till she is two years old.

Thanks a lot to all the wonderful owners and co-owners of our puppies! You all do a brilliant job!

The puppy page of our R-litter has been updated. You will find of every single puppy photos.

Unfortunately two families figured out later that a puppy would not suit their life right now. But better now than later!

Now we have two puppies available again. A boy, liver/white/tan and a girl liver/white.

We have some good news from the dog sports front!

"Jakob vom Belauer See" was participating on Thursday, May 30th 2019 at a Ally Obedience Trial. He has been entered for the first time in Class 3, which is the highest. Under judge Frank Nielsen he got a "very good" with 83/100 Points in Eggebek, Germany.

On Saturday, June 1st he started again in Luebeck under judge Martina Klein. This time he was not successful, but it was more the handler. Next time it will be better.

His sibling "Jolanthe vom Belauer See" started in Class 2 and gained 96/100 Points and was placed 3rd in the overall competition. "Deb's Cortina" started also in Class 2 and got 94/100 Points and was placed 5th.

Well done! Congratulations!

19.05.2019

Some days are just special!

It has been not only my birthday but so far the most successful day in the history of my Kennel talking about the number of titles earned in one day at a Show.

We had entered four dogs of the "Belauer See - Show Team" at the Euopean Winner Show (VDH) in Dortmund. The English Springers were judged by Dr. Özkanal, TR, the Field Spaniels by Bo Skalin, Sweden.

The Springers were shown by Svenja Arendt, supported by Vanessa Hartmann and Sebastian Feilke. The Field was shown by myself.

24 Springers were entered and 2 Field Spaniels. Unfortunately the numbers of Fields are still very low here in Germany. I hope that will change in due time.

The following results got us thrilled throughout the day:

"Deb's Cortina", Veteran Class, European Veteran Winner 2019, BOB Veteran

"Jolanthe vom Belauer See", Open Class, CACIB, European Winner 2019, BOS

"Okka vom Belauer See", Junior Class, European Junior Winner 2019

"Noble Alice vom Belauer See", Intermediate Class, CACIB, European Winner 2019 BOB

Two days before the English Springers were also shown at the "Spring Show 2019" in Dortmund with good results.

"Jolanthe vom Belauer See" (Zelda) has fullfilled the requirements for the title "Champion International d' Exposition" (C.I.E.). We are very proud of this success! Congratulations and big thank you, Svenja!

Spring has arrived at Belauer See! In the last few weeks a lot has happened. Belauer See Spaniels have been very successful at many Shows throughout Europe. You will find information in detail on the German version of this website. Please turn here.

This weekend we enjoy our garden. Some photos I took the last couple days will give you an impression. The dogs are not all groomed for Show!

And then we got the good news that "Ludwig vom Belauer See" and "Jolanthe vom Belauer See" are now Dutch Champion!

Big congratulations to owners and handlers! Well done! We are proud of you!

What to do on a brilliant day with lots of sunshine? I thought I take my camera and young "Queen Mary vom Belauer See" with her Mum "Desperados Charlotta At Belauer See" and explore the close by area.

Both were enjoying our trip and I think the photos in the small gallery from today show you a little bit the development of our little Queen...

On 01.02.2019 "Ludwig vom Belauer See" (Calvdale Night court x Desperados Charlotta At Belauer See), Gimli, wins Best of Breed at the International Show in Eindhoven, Netherlands under the honourable judge K. Scheel from Denmark.

He gained this day one more step towards his international title by winning the CACIB and another important CAC for the Dutch Champion title.

Big congratulations to Gimli and his owner and handler Doerthe Karrasch!

But also here at home at Belauer See we received good news during the last few days!

Our young Field Spaniel bitch  "Noble Alice vom Belauer See" (Elgert Rumour Has It x Winterbourne Move On To Belauer See) had recently her hips x-rayed. Now we got the results: A2! I am very pleased!

Today  "Jolanthe vom Belauer See" (Sanque's Dreamchaser x Desperados Charlotta vom Belauer See) won in Denmark at a Rally Obedience Trial Expert Class with 94 points and "excellent".

Although you missed one point towards another certificate towards the Champion Title and there were "only" 82 points in the second round, big congratulations to this great win, Sebastian and Zelda! I think it is incredible what you two have gained so far!

Our young Field Spaniel "Prince Arthur vom Belauer See At Nadavin" was on 03.02.2019 at the Merseyside Gundog Show, UK "Best Puppy"!

Last weekend our with Kennel Nadavin co-owned "Prince Arthur vom Belauer See At Nadavin" gave his Show debut in Manchester.

We are very pleased that he has been placed 2nd with only 7 months in Junior out of four youngsters.

He is the first Spaniel "vom Belauer See" shown in the homeland of the breed. But that will change in due time...

Last weekend "Qing Duncan vom Belauer See" left us. He is now living near Schleswig, Germany with his family. He will be trained for hunting. We wish him and his new family all the best!

05.01.2019

Today we have done a quick photo shooting with our puppies, also to try out the new mobile grooming table.

Queen Mary and Qing Duncan (Art Wave's Pop A Top Again x Desperados Charlotta At Belauer See) were not really thrilled about it. Especially Duncan didn't like it very much.

For both puppies I am still looking for a forever home. So far there were no suitable inquiries.

I think for both puppies an active home will be nice. Both have show quality. Because of their pedigrees they are also interesting for breeders.

...well, and both are always up for an adventure…

Dorothy "SandsCape Golden Girl vom Belauer See", our import from the US, has developed really nice the last few months.

I haven't published any photos of her since a long time.

Most likely there will be a german-finish breeding project with her either this year or at the beginning of next year.
