Long time no update about the puppies.

 

Well, when you have a small litter and all the puppies will basically stay, then there is no need to really constantly update the page for puppy buyers. I rather spend my time with the little ones.

 

But last weekend we had our usual photo session with the puppies at the age of 7 1/2 weeks. 

 

Claudia Bruhn took all those nice phtos and I am really happy about the results. Many thanks to you and Maraike that you found your way to Denmark!

And now I would like to introduce the puppies with their names and photos.

 

The first puppy born was

 

"Vom Belauer See Australian Alice Springs"

 

She is named after the famoous city in Australia and in honor of her grandmother our "Noble Alice vom Belauer See".

 

Alice Springs will live with her mother "Yankee Rose vom Belauer See" further North in Ålum near Randers. She will stay in co-ownership and will hopefully contribute to our breeding program in future.

The second bitch born is

 

"Vom Belauer See Australian Sophia".

She will stay with us and her grandmother. Sophia is named after the Australian Sophia River. 

 

Sophia is now the last of the "Golden Girls" living in our house. I guess I have to find another idea for the pet names of our dogs.

Our Australian litter has arrived in the early morning hours of January 6th.

 

We are very happy about two girls. They are very lively and gaining weight. 

 

And as you can see in the short video, even when there are only two puppies it is not always easy to find your way to the milk bar.

Our next puppy plans seem to materialize. We are expecting a litter of Field Spaniels early in January 2026.

 

Our Dana "Yankee Rose vom Belauer See" has been mated by Darty "Longbourn D'Artagnan". 

 

Both parents have a wonderful temperament, are well constructed and have both great working abilities.

Dana is a lovely bitch with a beautiful head. Built very correct, but she doesn't like showing. She prefers to spend time  in the woods and excels in blood tracking. Beside her beautiful head, she has a correct front, great top line and length and very good hind angulation. I hope, she will give this to her offspring.

Darty, as the Sire is called, has lived with us for a bit more than 3 weeks. I had brought him together with another breeder to Scandinavia for several months. He mated two bitches and was shown several times and gained his Champion titles in Sweden and Finland during that time. 

 

Darty was a joy to live with. He is a calm and very level headed boy with a great temperament. Darty got along with all of our dogs, boys and girls alike. I am very happy, that I have chosen him for this litter and I am very much looking for the litter.

 

Following you will find the pedigree of the litter. The ALC of this litter is only 93,55 %, COI is 0,00. You can hardly find a combination in the breed with such a low inbreeding! This opens up lots of opportunities for future breedings.
