Life has been busy and I am aware I have to fill some gaps about Dorothy's boy! It will follow.
But here you can see, how he has developed. I am very pleased with him!
His pedigree name is "SandsCape Belauer See I Am What I Am" and he will be called Michael.

Dorothy has moved with her son from the puppy room to the living room. That gives him more exposure to family life and noises around the house.
Meanwhile we gave him his pet name. He will be called "Michael". We are still working on his pedigree name.
Patrick has built a little toy for Michael. He put some beads into it and taped it up at the end. When it falls over, it makes a noise. Isn't he a clever boy!?

Meanwhile our boy is 10 days old.
Dorothy is a great mother and taking good care of her boy. He is already starting to open his eyes. Isn't he cute?

Today our beloved Dorothy gave birth to a liver-tan boy!
He weighs 453 g.

Beginning of February 2020 I traveled with my Field Spaniel bitch Dorothy "SandsCape Golden Girl At Belauer See" to the U.S.A.
Reason was the start of an american-german breeding project together with the breeder of Dorothy, Nichole Dooley-Bunch, Kennel "SandsCape".
Our plan was, that Dorothy will have two litters in the U.S. from different Sires and that I will bring back puppies to Germany, which will hopefully give be a broader foundation for my breeding of Field Spaniels in Europe.
I am very glad for this great opportunity and appreciate the effort and the work this will take Nichole to make this happen!
Unfortunately there was not really a good bitch puppy for me in the first litter. There was one male I didn't decide right at the beginning. He has started now his Show career in the US and is very promising!
Now I hope for the second litter to bring some offspring for myself! Dorothy will have her puppies around July 11th.

Finley is co-owned by Nichole Dooley-Bunch, Kennel "SandsCape" and Donna Ray.
Finley has given already very nice offspring. That is the reason, why we chose him for Dorothy. We think, he is a good match to her.
I know also his parents personally (plus some other dogs in the background), which is quite important to me, when choosing a Sire for my bitches.
